The break chain protector is composed of two core units: a magnetic-electric speed sensor and a dedicated signal controller. The rotating shaft of the magnetic-electric speed sensor is embedded inside the equipment's transmission shaft and rotates synchronously with the driven shaft. The sensor collects real-time rotational speed pulse signals and transmits them to the dedicated signal controller for analysis and calculation. The device can be connected to the PLC control system to achieve overall linkage and interlock of the entire machine, or it can be paired with a resetter to achieve local independent control.

This protective device is applicable to various chain conveying equipment. It can conduct all-weather real-time monitoring of the drive motor and the mechanical transmission assembly. It can accurately identify and respond quickly to electrical abnormalities and mechanical failures such as chain breakage, overloading, mechanical jamming, low speed and slow rotation, chain slipping, detachment of the transmission chain/belt, and transmission shaft fracture. It instantly outputs switch quantity alarms and interlock signals to achieve timely equipment shutdown protection and ensure the safe and stable operation of the conveying system.

断链保护器工作原理:
断链保护器由磁电速度传感器和专用信号控制器组成,设备整体安装于刮板机从动传动轴侧,磁电速度传感器转轴嵌入从动传动轴内部,与传动轴同步运转,无需外接检测片,依靠磁电感应原理实时采集设备转速脉冲信号。
设备正常运行时,刮板机电机通过传动机构驱动传动轴持续运转,带动传感器同步旋转,磁电速度传感器连续采集到稳定、均匀的转速脉冲信号,并实时传输至专用信号控制器进行运算解算。控制器识别设备正常运行转速信号后,输出正常工作开关量信号,允许刮板机持续正常运行,同时可将信号上传至PLC系统,实现设备联动监控。
当刮板机运行过程中出现卡转、堵转、过载超载、链条打滑、传动链条脱落、传动轴断裂、低速失速等机械或传动故障时,从动传动轴会出现转速骤降、空转或完全停转的状态。此时磁电速度传感器采集的转速脉冲信号会出现紊乱、缺失或完全中断,专用信号控制器实时监测信号变化。
若在预设工艺延时时间(默认5秒)内,控制器未检测到符合正常运行标准的转速脉冲信号,即刻判定设备出现传动故障,迅速触发保护机制,断开正常运行输出信号,同步输出故障报警及联锁停机信号。可联动控制系统切断设备运行电源、强制停机,及时规避链条拉断、电机烧毁、传动机构损毁等设备故障及安全事故。
本产品采用磁电感应采集方式,信号采集不受电机功率大小、电压电流参数影响,仅依托设备实际传动转速判定运行状态,监测精准、稳定性强,可全方位保障刮板机输送系统安全、稳定运行。
The chain break protector is composed of a magnetic-electric speed sensor and a dedicated signal controller. The entire device is installed on the driven transmission shaft of the scraper conveyor. The rotating shaft of the magnetic-electric speed sensor is embedded inside the driven transmission shaft and rotates synchronously with the transmission shaft. No external detection plate is required. It collects the rotational speed pulse signals of the equipment in real time based on the principle of magnetic-electric induction.
When the equipment is operating normally, the scraper motor drives the transmission shaft through the transmission mechanism to continuously rotate, causing the sensor to rotate synchronously. The magnetic-electric speed sensor continuously collects stable and uniform rotational speed pulse signals and transmits them in real time to the dedicated signal controller for calculation and solution. After the controller recognizes the normal operating speed signal of the equipment, it outputs a normal working switch signal, allowing the scraper machine to continue operating normally. At the same time, the signal can be uploaded to the PLC system to achieve equipment linkage monitoring.
When mechanical or transmission faults such as jamming, stalling, overload, slipping of the chain, detachment of the transmission chain, fracture of the transmission shaft, and low-speed stall occur during the operation of the scraper machine, the driven transmission shaft will enter a state of sudden speed drop, idle rotation or complete stop. At this time, the speed pulse signals collected by the magnetic-electric speed sensor will become disordered, missing or completely interrupted. The dedicated signal controller will monitor the changes in the signals in real time.
If within the preset process delay time (default 5 seconds), the controller fails to detect the rotational speed pulse signal that meets the normal operation standards, it immediately determines that the equipment has a transmission fault and promptly triggers the protection mechanism. It then cuts off the normal operation output signal, simultaneously outputs the fault alarm and interlock shutdown signals. It can also联动 the control system to cut off the power supply of the equipment and force the machine to stop, thereby promptly avoiding equipment failures and safety accidents such as chain breakage, motor burnout, and damage to the transmission mechanism.
This product adopts a magnetic-electric induction collection method. The signal collection is not affected by the power size of the motor, voltage and current parameters. It only relies on the actual transmission speed of the equipment to determine the operating status. The monitoring is accurate and the stability is strong. It can fully ensure the safe and stable operation of the scraper conveyor system.
